The NSW Wingless Sprints visited the picturesque Gunnedah Speedway last Saturday night, March 21, for the 13th round of the Aussie Forklift Repairs and Fruitwheels Refrigerated Transport NSW Club Championship.
Fifteen cars made the trek to the north-western NSW venue and it was Blake Darcy who proved too strong, leading every lap of the final, to claim an emphatic win. Second to the line was Mark Blyton followed by Brian Briton, Jason Bates and Sean Dicker.
It was an important pointís haul for Darcy as the run to the finish of the club championship reaches a climax and every position becomes important.
Finishing just outside the top five was Mikaela Blyton in sixth ahead of Nikki Briton, Clint McCorquodale, Ashleigh Jack, Jeff Neve, Troy Carey, Greg Cowan, Marshall Blyton, Nathan Dicker and Sean Mayo.
