With the 2017 Powranna Plant Hire Australian Wingless Sprint Championship being held at Carrick Speedway in Tasmania on February 23-25, there are a number of options available for people who are unable to attend but are still wishing to keep up to date with all of the happenings throughout the event.

In addition to the live timing for each race, including heat races, preliminary feature races and the Australian Championship-deciding feature race, which can be accessed via the Australian Wingless Sprint Racing website www.awsr.com.au, and Race Monitor, the Australian Championship event will offer significant exposure via the AWSR’s social media channels.

By searching Australian Wingless Sprint Racing on Facebook and Twitter, you will be able to view regular posts, in terms of up-to-date race-by-race starting fields and results as they occur, as well as race updates, photos and driver interviews throughout the three-night event, allowing you to stay as informed as possible.

The Australian Championship will be held over three days, beginning on the Thursday night of February 23 with practice and then later the Calcutta. The following Friday night will see drivers contest the first rounds of heat races and a preliminary feature race, with the remaining heat races and Australian Championship-deciding feature race to be held on the Saturday night of February 25. The event offers a whopping prize pool of $22,000, with $4,000 to win.
