This year, there were two life memberships handed out. Both Jeff Neve and Graham Flood joined Allen Skene and Peter Craft as the only other Life Members of the NSW Wingless Sprints. Both were very well deserved and received a huge reception when announced.
The night rounded out with a raffle with plenty of prizes donated from a number of different organisations. They were as follows:
American Race Tires
Hoosier Race Tires
Revolution Race Gear
Racing Spares/Bruce White
Burson Auto Parts
Castrol
Scotts RE Spares
MSCN
Oz Frames & block mounts
Bear Design
Motorsport Connections
Valvoline Raceway
Precision International
Once all formalities were over, the party mood set in with a live band that saw people dance and sing the night away. The crowd were also treated to a hilarious ventriloquist routine by Darren Carr.
The NSW Wingless Sprints would like to thank all sponsors, officials, volunteers, drivers and their teams and families on making the 2015/16 season one of the best on record.
It should also be noted that the Northern Rivers (NSW) club recently held their presentation night and had a record turnout of 108 people. Wingless Sprints racing in NSW could not be stronger.
Let’s do it all again next season.
