Australian Wingless Sprint Racing has continued its forward progress, with all state branches coming together to ensure increased exposure and constructive publicity for the class.

Using their initiative to continue driving Wingless Sprint racing forward, each state and territory branch of the AWSR has now committed to arranging ongoing media representation from organisations, such as Daniel Powell from Redline Media and Totally Speedway, in order to promote the class and continue to improve its reputation across competitors and spectators alike.

By placing a strong focus on bringing up-to-date event coverage, news, results and more to fans via their new and improved fully-responsive website and social media channels, as well as providing increased exposure for drivers and their teams, the AWSR has seen a considerable rise in the class’s popularity, as well as spectator engagement.

“Improving our class is an ongoing development and maintaining stable media representation is just one of the initiatives we’ve undertaken in order to do so,” commented AWSR President Mick Parry.

“Over the past season, we’ve seen driver numbers increase across the country and we have no doubt that this is, in part, due to our heightened publicity and social media presence.

“For a national class like Wingless Sprints, it’s very important that each state branch communicates and acts as part of the whole organisation in order to reach unified goals and that’s exactly what we’re currently doing and will continue to do in future seasons.”
