V22-TITLE-AD-VECTOR-DONEXX

The 2016-17 season for Wingless Sprints will offer two big weekends of racing in Tasmania which are not to be missed, with the Powranna Plant Hire Australian Championship and the Tasmanian Title.

Below is everything you need to know in order to prepare for these events.

EVENTS:

The Australian Title will be held over three days at Cranes Combined Carrick Speedway, beginning on Thursday, February 23 with practice and the calcutta. The following Friday night will see the heat races and preliminary feature race, with the remaining heats and title-deciding feature race to be held on Saturday night of February 25. The event offers a whopping prize pool of $22,000, with $5,000 to win.

Two weeks later, drivers will return to Cranes Combined Carrick Speedway where they will contest the Tasmanian Title. The title is expected to be held over two nights on March 11-12 with the opportunity for drivers to win a minimum of $2,000; however, if less than 30 cars nominate, it will be changed to single-night event on March 11, and a feature event for Wingless Sprints will be held on March 12.

To find out more about the Australian Wingless Sprints Championship, contact Mick Parry on 0423 548 622, and to find out more about the Tasmanian Title, contact Narelle Blight on 0439 898 697.
