NT Wingless Sprints

The two day meeting held over the long weekend enabled the Wingless club to provide the members with an opportunity to test their skills and ready their crews for the upcoming two night state title to be held in late August this year.

The NTWSA raced two feature events during the weekend.

Saturday & Sunday was a combined score for the “Hugh Pablo Britton Medal” supported by Saints Rego Centre and Sunday night’s racing was the “Beta Berrimah Butchers” Darwin Title.

The racing was close and exciting with a few of the members left with a little bit of work to ready themselves for our next meeting on July 2nd.

Eric Metcalfe, Kyle Wiseman who is showing some excellent speed only after three nights in the seat and Brett Summerville were all left with some repairs in front of them as a result of racing incidents.

Saturday Night’s Feature resulted in an interstate podium.

1st V122 Leigh Mugavin (VIC)

2nd NT 14 Sam Borlini (WA)

3rd NT 18 Josh Norman

4th NT 77 Kyle Wiseman

Sunday Night’s Darwin Title

1st NT Sam Borlini (WA)

2nd NT 4 Sean Tiedeman

3rd NT 18 Josh Norman

4th NT 7 John Murdie

The Hugh Britton Medal being a combined two night point score event resulted in another interstate podium of

1st NT 14 Sam Borlini (WA)

2nd NT18 Josh Norman (NT)

3rd V122 Leigh Mugavin (VIC)

4th NT 7 John Murdie
