Fresh from the recent announcement of the 2016-17 season Australian Wingless Sprints Title is coming to Cranes Combined Carrick Speedway in Tasmania, the track is proud to announce the major sponsor of the event will be Powranna Plant Hire.
Powranna Plant Hire has been a major supporter of Tasmanian speedway for a number of years. Company proprietor Tim McKinnell is an ex-racer himself and owns entries in 410 Sprintcars, Formula 500s and most notably, two-time Tasmanian Wingless Sprint Title holder and runner-up at this season’s Australian Title Brad Whitchurch.
Carrick Speedway race director Steve Jessup is thrilled to announce the event’s major sponsor.
“It is great to have Tim’s continued support of the sport and of this event.” explained Jessup, who encourages mainlanders to be in touch as soon as possible about Spirit of Tasmania bookings.
“It was a major achievement to get the Australian Title to Tasmania, but to have Powranna Plant Hire on board as major sponsor is fantastic.”
